Padang Padang is Uluwatu’s more sophisticated big brother: same cheese-grater reef  and huge wave with an older, more worldly crowd lounging in barely-legal swimwear on its very small protected beach.

Throngs of locals and tourists understandably flock here around sunset time. With its (comparatively) cheap local food stalls, amazing views, and vibrant human life from around the globe, Padang Padang is yet another picturesque place in Bali to slowly transition into evening.
